I was born and spent my early years in the wilds of Africa and later my father became the director of London and Whipsnade Zoos, which helped give me, from an early age, a love of wildlife and a passion for conservation.
I studied veterinary medicine at Cambridge University and have been fortunate to work around the world and gain experience in treating many kinds of animals, including volunteer work in an Orang-utan rehabilitation centre in Borneo.
I'm also an international authority on Indonesian butterflies with various publications to my name and have discovered and named several new species and sub-species.
Over the years, I have focused on taking care of pets and on building a top quality veterinary practice, which has led to me being invited to speak at international conferences on practice management and client care.
I am proud of the care and expertise that our fantastic team of vets, nurses and receptionists provide. We all love working with, and caring for animals and our motto is to treat all the pets we meet as if they were our own.
We all know that there is always something new and something to learn and that keeps our work forever interesting!
